Road in the Huron National Forest in Alcona County on a sunny autumn day in 2025.
Taken after our visit with Bruce. Little did we know it would be the last time we saw him. Cherish every moment!

One of the very best friends we have ever been blessed to know, quietly went home to be with Jesus last night. He had fought his battle with illness, and never once during it all did he stop fighting to live with joy as Jesus wanted him to live. He was an inspiration. He was a fierce leader and fighter for what he believed in. He was a part of the reason I am currently surrendered to Jesus and in ministry school.  His name was Bruce Heath.

I will forever be grateful to God for bringing this man into our lives. God is always working.

In a few short years, we grew to love him with the same passion he lived & loved with. In a few short years, he demonstrated the impact that one man – unconstrained by the shackles of this world’s institutions – can make a significant difference.

At the loss of a loved one, we are met with sadness at loss. However, Jesus has called him home. Praise God that he has met his Lord.

(2 Timothy 4:7) “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:”

He kept the faith. He lived beautifully. His light shone bright.

We will always love you, brother. We will carry on the fight. We will meet again in glory.

(2 Timothy 4:8) “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

Celebrate YOUR life. It is a gift from God. Live for Him.

This picture was taken on the last day we saw our friend in person. To me, it represents the beauty of the path he walked on. He was full of beautiful golden light. Passionate and true. He walked a path we should all try to find. For him, the light always broke through. What a beautiful soul.

We will miss you.
